General Pricing & Service Minimums
Hourly Rate: $65.00/hr (1-hour minimum)
Service Fee: - $100.00
Base fee per visit (includes vehicle prep, tool load-in/out, admin & quote time)

Travel Charge: $0.70/km Beyond 30 km radius of Hardisty
Parts & Materials:
Charged separately (at cost, plus receipt provided)

Cupboard, Cabinet, and Door Repairs / Hardware Adjustments – $65.00/hour
Blind Install or Repair (Vertical or Horizontal) – $50.00/window (min 2)
Drywall Patching & Paint Touch-up – $65.00/hr
Light Fixture, Plug, or Switch Replacement – $60.00/item
Appliance Installs (Dishwasher, OTR Microwave) – $120.00 flat rate
Plumbing Fixtures
Faucet or P-trap Replacement (Kitchen/Bath) – $100.00 flat rate per fixture
Bathtub / Shower Trim Replacement – $100.00 flat rate
Toilet Install or Internal Tank Repair – $100.00 flat rate
Sink Install (Drop-in or Pedestal) – Starting at $120.00
Unclogging Drains (Minor Clogs) – $80.00 flat rate
Sealant Work
Silicone Removal & Resealing (Bath/Kitchen) – Starting at $80.00/area
Furniture Assembly & Odd-Jobs
Furniture Assembly – $65.00/hr (complex items may vary)
This price is for standard flat-pack pieces. For complex items like cribs, wardrobes, or beds with storage, hourly rates may apply.
Picture & Shelf Hanging: $25–$40/item
(Varies based on size, wall type, and installation complexity)
Yard Work
Lawn Mowing & Trimming – Starting at $65.00/hr
Includes push mowing & basic whipper snipping. Large or uneven yards may vary.
Leaf Blowing, General Yard Cleanup – $65.00/hr
Quoting Policy
We’re happy to provide estimates for your projects — here’s how quoting works at Kicking Muel Maintenance:
Remote Estimates:
We offer free ballpark estimates via text or email when you provide photos, measurements, and a clear description of the job. This helps us give you a general idea before any site visit.
On-Site Quotes:
If a site visit is required to assess the work, our standard $100 service fee applies. This fee covers travel and the first 30 minutes. If you go ahead with the job, the service fee is credited toward your final invoice.
